What happens in case of unfortunate event?

  • In case of death- sum = the number of monthly Gross salaries* are paid to his heirs
  • In case of Permanent Total Disability – sum = number of Monthly Gross salaries* is paid to the employee
  • In case of Temporary Disability – the difference between the benefit paid by NSSI and % of the net salary is paid to the employee up to 12 months
  • In case of Hospitalization - a fixed sum = 25 - 75 BGN is paid per day of hospitalization
  • In case of Critical Illness - a fixed sum = 6 monthly gross salaries, is paid to cover the cost of Critical diseases (exception: Coronary Laser Treatment and coronary atherectomy = 10% of Sum=  6 monthly gross salaries)
